Collecting Research Instruments

Yesterday I spent most of the day working on my syntax class. We are being asked to focus on one of the chapters of "Constructions méconnues du français" for our final project.
I decided to work on clitics, and how they work in Ciociaro.
It got me thinking about what might be a good idea in terms of the CHILS research. I think it would be helpful to contact some people who have worked on similar projects. I have spoken to the people I work with at ICAP, and I'd like to learn more about questionnaires and approaches other people have taken. Both in linguistics, and in community research projects.

I'd like to see questionnaires, as well as how people have gone about collecting stories from communities, outside of linguistics. How people contacted members of the public, where they conducted their interviews, and how people have used community members to interview each other.

For my syntax class I'd also like to see how people have studied clitics in non-standard varieties of Italian.
For phonology I haven't decided what I'd like to study, but I think the professor would like us to stick to French languages, so I may go with Michif because I have a background in it. I also think it'll be interesting to look at how the phonology (maybe) is divided between the Cree and French parts of the language.

Tonight I'm working on the Wikipedia slides for David's class, and preparing the course page so that his TA and I can discuss what needs to be done tomorrow after our phonology class.
